Ostara Blooming Ltd Ed Print of 50 by Patrycja Whipp, inspired by Ostara, also known as The Spring Equinox.
The Spring Equinox
The date and time at which the centre of the Sun is directly over the equator in late September is called the equinox—from the Latin for 'equal night'. In the southern hemisphere, this marks the tipping point from days being shorter than nights, to days becoming longer than nights.
Ostara is a Germanic goddess of spring, rebirth and fertility. This piece was created due my personal experiences and a milestone of turning 40. It is a floral celebration of spring time, rebirth and renewal and all things magical that are blooming inside and all around me at this time of year.
