This original artwork is inspired by the brown hare living in the grassland. This type of mammal is native to Europe and parts of Asia and although it might look like a gentle rabbit, it's much taller and stronger. Their powerful hind legs allow them to reach speeds of 45mph (72km/h). Brown Hares can be seen standing on their hind legs ‘boxing’ during the breeding season. This was long assumed to be males fighting each other for females, but it is in fact females fighting away the males.

This piece features three painting techniques; acrylic pouring, palette knife and traditional paint brush.
It's highly textured and colour palette will suit most traditional and modern interiors.
